1-1/2" Modern Mako Tooth Pendant, Burnt Root & Scrimshaw

Truly one of a kind, this modern mako shark tooth features a hand-illustrated surfer, inked onto the tooth's enamel with scrimshaw technique. This was done by an artist who now resides in Taiwan, and with whom we don't work with anymore. The tooth's root has also been carefully burnt – a time-honored practice – then clear-coated for protection and durability. The tooth is expertly wrapped with a hearty wire for a secure, elegant presentation. (The pendant will include a black adjustable woven cord to make a complete necklace).

This tooth, while listed as 1-1/2", is a smidge over that, approaching 1-5/8" (but we like to be fair in our descriptions).
