1-5/8" Modern Mako Tooth Pendant, Burnt Root & Scrimshaw

This modern mako shark tooth features a hand-illustrated shark, inked onto the tooth's enamel with scrimshaw technique. This was done by an artist who now resides in Taiwan, and this is the only pendant of its kind. The tooth's root has also been carefully burnt – a time-honored practice – then clear-coated for protection and durability. The tooth is expertly wrapped with brass-tone wire for a secure, elegant presentation. (The pendant will include a black adjustable woven cord to make a complete necklace).
